Shakespeare’s Sister’s Soap Company

Artisan Natural Soap making company in Shakespeare’s birthplace, in the Heart of England

Shakespeare’s Sister’s Soap started life when I could not find a gentle, moisturising soap that suited my sensitive skin.

What started as an interest for me has become a passion for making high quality, beautiful and life enhancing soaps that are a joy to make – the scents make you smile and your skin feels soft and beautifully enriched.

Rose petals from my garden by the Alembic still before they are transformed into Rose Hydrosols (flower water)

All our soaps are hand made by us and each one is designed to enhance, protect and nourish your skin using only natural ingredients.

Our wrapped soaps

We are unique in growing the flowers and herbs in our gardens which we then make into hydrosols (flower waters), using an ancient method of distillation in our handmade copper Alembic still, to scent our soaps.

Our lavender and geranium soap with sprigs of Hidcote lavender and Attar of Rose Geranium

Our rose soaps and a posy of roses.

Our aim is to source the best quality, environmentally sustainable or organic oils and ingredients to use in our soaps.

Shakespeare’s Sister’s Soap (Straford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire) and our sister company Wellgreen Soap (Lewes and Cyprus) was set up by sister’s Judith (Stratford-upon-Avon) and Amanda (Lewes and Cyprus) and has a reputation for quality products and great service.

Join us in our passion; hand-made, hand-cut, hand-wrapped by us…try our heavenly soaps for yourself!

‘Can one desire too much of a good thing?’

Act IV, Scene 1
William Shakespeare

Castille Olive oil soap

‘When I got your soap in the post and opened the box they looked great, and now after using them for a week I am hooked; it’s just like after you taste real coffee, you can’t go back to instant and I can’t go back to normal soap.’
